Personalize Treatment for Hepatitis B

World health care has now reached the stage of the latest developments.
Through the implementation of personalized health care (personalized healthcare), all patients receive appropriate and optimal therapy according to individual needs.

One application is the latest Quant HBsAg test that gives new hope for treatment of Hepatitis B. Currently, it has available two types of tests to monitor hepatitis B patients when used appropriately. Both can complement each other and help doctors monitor patients' response to treatment and to tailor treatment to the needs of each patient.

The goal of therapy in chronic Hepatitis B is not the detection of HBsAg in patients. Recent data indicate that the detection of HBsAg is closely associated with reduced progression of the virus in causing cirrhosis and liver cancer, as well as increasing patient quality of life thanks to the immune system against viruses as well as remission.

In addition, studies show that the combination of the level of HBsAg by HBV DNA level, can determine who the patients are not carriers of the virus so it does not require therapy, and patients who will get the optimum benefit from the therapy. (G04Healthy /****)
