1.400 Bacteria Nested in Navel!?

FROM the entire surface of the body, the bacteria were already have a favorite hiding place we often ignore. Where is it? Nevel is the answer. How could you? Is that Dangerous?

The results surprised scientists obtained the University of North Carolina State Belly Button Biodiversity, the United States. Researchers found 662 species of bacteria in the navel. Surprisingly, the bacteria including the new species.

It began when microbiologists studied 95 volunteers navel. After investigation, the researchers found 80 percent of the 1,400 species of bacteria in the navel, including a fairly safe and harmless.

But the number of bacteria contained in each navel volunteers vary, depending on how diligent they clean up their navel. For instance a volunteer, New Peter Aldhous who cleaned her navel on a regular basis so that there were no colonies of bacteria in his navel.

Meanwhile, Carl Zimmer researchers instead found at least 53 different species, some of which have originated from a surprising place. "Some species such as Marimonas only found in the ocean and Georgenia live only in Japan. I am very confused," he said.

The research team also meminya volunteers to use cotton to wipe their belly button about three times as much. Cotton was then placed in a bottle and so bacteria grow.

Having grown large enough, bacterial DNA is extracted to be photographed and compared with known bacteria. The research team revealed they want to investigate bacteria on navel because everyone would have one.

"However, we are hardly seen in our everyday lives. Thus, we should not ignore it diligently cleaning the navel," he said. (MI / RRN)
